Who We Are
Marlyn Gitomer is a Certified Safety Professional with over 13 years of experience in occupational health & safety. Her career began with litigation support for a global firm and expanded into projects across the US and internationally.For more than a decade, Marlyn has conducted field investigations including air sampling, groundwater sampling and soil sampling under the direction of Certified Industrial Hygienists and Professional Geologists. She has worked in municipal government where she added emergency management skills to her wheelhouse.Marlyn is passionate about safety and enjoys working with people to discover what motivates them and the choices they make. In climbing, the term "beta" refers advice on how to complete a climb and usually refers to a specific sequence of moves.The beauty of the sport is that climbers come in different shapes, sizes and abilities. Thus, our paths to the top are not always identical.Our philosophy on safety is similar. Companies, like people, have unique sets of strengths and weaknesses that affect safety performance.Safety Beta cannot climb the mountain for you, but we're here to help you reach your goals.
